Piano & Clarinet teacher

Ms. Joyce discovered her love for music at just three years old when she first sat down at the piano. Since 2007, she has joyfully taught students of all ages—from curious four-year-olds to enthusiastic eighty-year-olds—helping each one build confidence and a lifelong connection to music. She has played the clarinet since third grade and proudly earned first chair with the San Diego Symphony in 2012 while studying at UC San Diego. From 2013 onward, she also spent eight wonderful years singing with the Ching Ching Choir in the Bay Area, enriching her musical experience even further.

Passionate about nurturing new musicians, Ms. Joyce specializes in teaching absolute beginners. She offers private one-on-one lessons for piano and clarinet students, creating a supportive, encouraging environment tailored to each learner. She has also recently launched playful, engaging group music classes for toddlers ages 1–3, designed to spark early curiosity and joy in music.
